    Abstract

What does the future hold? Information security threats in 2011 and beyond

At present, with many economies still gripped by recession and organisations struggling to look forward to the next week to predict income and profit, it may seem odd to think about the world in two years’ time. That, however, is exactly what this presentation does, looking beyond the current geopolitical realities and economic crises to examine information security threats of the future.
The ‘top five’ threats you will see are:

      • Criminal attacks
      • Weakness in infrastructure
      • Tougher statutory environment
      • Pressures on offshoring / outsourcing
      • Eroding network boundaries
This presentation will provide attendees with an insight into the future, allowing them to assist their organisations in taking informed, timely action to mitigate risks, help them justify investments and become more proactive."
