The International Cyber Center at Mason and Ministry of Information and Communications, Kenya are jointly organizing a workshop on National CIRT capacity building in Kenya.  This program will take an interdisciplinary view of cyber security and related global issues and will focus specifically on the implementation strategies for CIRTs in Kenya. There will be two types of sessions – plenary sessions and break-out sessions.  The plenary presentations will involve a mix of invited speakers and active discussion among the attendees.  The program is structured to facilitate participant interaction.

Who should attend

We invite participation of national CIRT stakeholders within East Africa including ICT regulators, law enforcement, e-government directorates, academia, ccTLD registry managers, ICT service providers, the departments of justice and the private sector. This is meant to be an interdisciplinary workshop.
